Problem One: Resolved
The software library has been patched, system updated, and images are now able to be processed. Cropping, color correction, etc. Took a couple days, but, everything appears to be in working order and I can move forward.
New Problem & Resolution
After being able to fully open and review the product review photos I took, the quality is horrible. Using my GoPro Hero13 Black, both with the standard lens and the macro lens mod, the level of detail is just not there. Its actually pretty terrible even with at 4K. The tiny sensor, light level, and closeness to the photo subject all compounded to a not great outcome
Every photo is going to have to be retaken. This means the unboxing photos likely won’t be in the review, at least not in a meaningful way. I’m not going to fake unbox a product. It just is what it is at this point.
Example
Below is an example of the level of detail from my GoPro vs. my mobile phone’s camera.

It’s painfully obvious the GoPro isn’t up to the task, even using the Media Mod and Light Mod with the GoPro, extra external lights, and lowering ISO, it just can’t take good stills that show close up detail. Luckily that wasn’t why I purchased the camera, but it is a bit disappointing.
All that to say; I’m taking all new photos today, new pack, current pack, side by sides, etc., and plan on having the post up this afternoon.
